"We purchased a GHC home late last year. It was delivered to our property this spring; March 26 to be exact; and as of-this week, our new home is nearly completed, all but for a few little this-n-that type things! We felt that it was important that we send you a note of thanks! Although we have only spent a few weekend nights in our new home up till now, we can't be happier with it. Not only are we happy with our choice of homes, but also, we are happy with our choice of builders - Sweetwater Homes in Lewiston, MI. Tommee and Wendy have been such a pleasure to work with, as have their crews! They have been patient, and professional, and the work crews have never once left a mess or been anything other than friendly and accommodating from day one. From what we've heard from other friends who have build new homes, to find all that in a builder and their crew is a rare find! Our home was delivered, customized and completed on time... with a few adiustments for weather, which no one had any control over.
We have never built a home before so alot of this experience was new and different for both my husband and me. I'm certain that we bugged Sweetwater with a lot of needless "stupid" questions due to our inexperience... but never once did we feel as though it was a bother to them. They stopped what they were doing and answered our concerns. When we walked into Sweetwater's Offices last summer, we handed them our own plans for a home. Tommee took them and within two weeks had blue prints customized using GHC's modular system. I doubt that anyone walking into our house would even know that it wasn't a custom "stick-built" home thanks to Sweetwater's experience and knowledge. Every smallest detail was covered and things we didn't even think about, Tommee added knowing it was the right thing to do!
So, that being said, we felt it was important to let you know how pleased we are. We certainly would have no problems recommending a GHC home ...and hope that they could use the knowledge and professionalism of Sweetwater as we have! The only bad part of this entire experience is that we won't be able to retire and live there full time for another six years... leaving on Sunday to come back to Muskegon will be more difficult than ever now!"
